Deir al-Balah, Gaza With funding from UNICEF and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Beit Lahiya Development Association (BLDA) has completed a massive relief effort in the Al-Masha’ala camps in Deir al-Balah. 4,533 kits, mostly consisting of cooking sets and other kitchen items, were distributed as part of the program. With the help of these goods, displaced families who have lost their possessions can cook meals in a sanitary and safe manner.
In addition, the intervention supplied personal hygiene kits to stop the spread of illness within the tents and winter blankets to endure the bitter weather. The Association stressed that supplying kitchenware and other necessities strives to maintain human dignity while bolstering family resilience and restoring a feeling of everyday normalcy. In order to address the expanding demands of different displacement camps, BLDA reiterated its continued collaboration with foreign partners.
