As part of its continuous efforts to promote safe and sustainable agricultural practices, the Beit Lahia Development Association (BLDA), in partnership with ANERA, conducted a specialized training on occupational safety in the agricultural sector, aimed at 80 greenhouse growers.
The training covered the fundamentals of safe operation and occupational health and safety procedures in agriculture, such as how to use agricultural tools and equipment correctly, how to prevent occupational hazards, and how important it is to follow safety regulations in order to safeguard farmers’ health and maintain the sustainability of agricultural production.
These initiatives are a part of the Association’s dedication to assisting farmers, bolstering their capabilities, and enhancing the agricultural workplace, all of which contribute to improved food security and the growth of agriculture in the neighborhood.
