Work continues on the “Agricultural Greenhouse Rehabilitation” project, implemented by the Beit Lahia Development Association in cooperation with ANERA. This initiative serves as an urgent field response to support the agricultural sector and empower farmers to resume their activities on their lands.
The current phase of the project targets 80 farmers who own damaged greenhouses. Technical teams are actively repairing affected structural frameworks, while simultaneously distributing and supplying essential agricultural inputs and production tools to the beneficiaries.
This intervention focuses on accelerating the return of farmers to the production cycle and transforming damaged greenhouses into functional, productive units. The goal is to ensure sustainable livelihoods and meet the local market’s needs for agricultural crops amidst the challenging conditions faced by farmers.
This activity is part of the joint efforts between the Association and ANERA to enhance food security, support the continuity of agricultural production, and provide Palestinian farmers with the necessary requirements to overcome the obstacles they face.
