As part of the project “Humanitarian Assistance to Palestinians in Response to the Crisis in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and its Regional Implications”
Beit Lahia Development Association (BLDA) has successfully completed debris and rubble removal activities across 13 displacement sites in northern Gaza, Gaza City, and the Middle Area.
These interventions involved the removal of approximately 7,650 tons of rubble, contributing to the improvement of the general environment and the reclamation of safe spaces for use by 3,250 displaced households. These efforts facilitated safe access to essential facilities, ensuring a safer and more dignified environment in line with humanitarian protection standards.
These interventions are implemented in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), emphasizing the vital role of collaborative action in facilitating rapid emergency response and providing protection and assistance to the most vulnerable groups.
