As part of our ongoing efforts to bring smiles and protect our children in displacement sites, Beit Lahia Development Association organized an entertainment and educational day for children on “Correct Handwashing Techniques.”, as part of the activities of the project:
“Enhancing Access to Safe Water, Sanitation Services, and Hygiene Practices for Conflict-Affected Vulnerable Communities in Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah,” with the support of the oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF), to assist the most vulnerable families.
The activity included interactive educational segments and physical games aimed at establishing personal hygiene habits among children as a primary line of defense against diseases, especially given the challenging health conditions faced by displaced families.
We believe that instilling these habits through play and fun is the best way to strengthen our children’s resilience and safeguard their health.
